John P. Coleman
Philadelphia
John Coleman passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, at his home.
He was predeceased by his daughter Tracy, parents Gerald and Margaret Coleman, and his former wife, Lisa Leszczynski.
Father of John Paul and Shannon. Grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 3.
He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen (the late John), and brothers, Gerald (Margaret), Brian (Kathleen), Timothy (Denise), and James (Maureen).
He was a graduate of Frankford High School and a member of the Philadelphia Carpenters Union. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations 2614 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, PA 19137.
Words of Remembrance will be spoken at 4 PM. Further arrangements held privately.
The family requests that those planning to attend wear their best Eagles gear.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Association.
